The most difficult aspects of blogging are: 1) coming up with new and relevant ideas and 2) maintaining a regular posting schedule. Some days are just truly uninspiring and writing seems impossible. Planning in advance the topics you want to discuss will help your writing process go much smoother. Set up an editorial calendar and update it as often as you can. If you get an idea of something you could possibly write about, jot it down in your calendar, and go back to it. Write as you come up with new points and ideas. Some ideas need to be developed further. Walk away from writing and come back with a fresh perspective.
Always try to stick to your blog schedule. It helps to have topics and resources planned out on your editorial calendar for certain days so when that day comes, all you have to do is write. When you have a sudden burst of inspiration, write it down before you blank. Having a word processing app on your phone is always useful. In fact, using some sort of application that allows you to edit and post content from all of your devices is incredibly beneficial. The Google drive app is a good app because it will let you have access to all of your online documents and can help the transfer of ideas go more smoothly later on.
