Happy Galentine’s Day! Instead of celebrating female friendships, let’s focus on personal goals and the best ways to achieve them. There are many different types of goals we can set for ourselves to accomplish today, tomorrow, next week, in a year, and by the end of our lifetime. Goals are unique to everyone and range in effectiveness, in other words, goals are what you make them. Some goals are so big, you have to accomplish smaller goals to work your way up. Goals can change day to day, hour by hour, just depends on you and your preferences. Here are different types of goals and how to work your way to accomplishing them:
Day to Day Goals. Basically these goals are your to-do list. Short, sweet, and to the point. Instead of focusing on what you need to do that day, just start doing it.
Short-Term Goals. What you want to accomplish in the near weeks or months. These goals need some time to finish but are not meant to take forever. Devote some time to working toward this goal as often as you can, little by little. The more work you put in, the more you can probably accomplish, and the sooner you will have met your goal.
Long-Term Goals. These goals stretch over many, many years. Changes are gradual and work must be done consistently in order to maintain progress. Create short-term goals to help you along the way.
Dreams. You probably only have a handful of dreams. These are those things you want to accomplish before you die. You will need to make long term goals in order to reach these dreams. It may take years to see progress and these goals may shift as you get older.
