Spotlight Sunday: Danielle Herman

Our Spotlight Sunday is our Director of Marketing, Danielle Herman! She is currently in her third year at the University of Georgia, studying Broadcast Journalism. Danielle’s dream job is to be an executive producer for a major network news station. She is passionate about her work at Grady Newsource, UGA’s student run weekday news program. Grady Newsource provides the opportunity for invaluable hands on experience in a real newsroom environment and Danielle’s involvement has been an incredible learning experience. “I’ve learned so much from the professors and have made some of the greatest friends over [the] past three years in that newsroom.” Apart from Grady Newsource, Danielle is involved with DiGamma Kappa, a broadcasting society, in which she serves as the Director of Events. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys baking, listening to country music, and watching Scandal. An advocate for all things positive, Danielle strongly believes that online portfolios are an excellent way to positively promote yourself. Thanks for all of your hard work Danielle!
