#wcw is here again and this week is all about Lauren Conrad. Lauren Conrad got her start on reality television. She worked on the popular MTV series, Laguna Hills and the even more popular The Hills. The Lauren Conrad Collection, her first clothing line, debuted in 2007, while she was still working on The Hills. She launched her second clothing line, made specifically for Kohl’s, in 2009. Two years later she launched yet another clothing line, Paper Crown, a specialty line with current pieces. All of these clothing lines have seen tremendous success since their debuts because of all the time and work Lauren gives to each of them. Not one to stick with the same project forever, Lauren also penned a number of bestselling books, adding to her already diverse career. Recently, Lauren has worked with a sustainable lifestyle company, BlueAvocado, to design two eco-friendly collections. Since the start of her career, Lauren has constantly been moving on to bigger and better projects. She uses her previous success in television as a platform in support of good causes, like her projects with BlueAvocado. Kindness comes naturally to her and through her success, she still makes time for her large fanbase. Her growing social network is only growing her platform to continue creating bigger and better things. We can not wait to see what she has in “store” for us!
