Are you using social media to its full potential? There are so many different platforms, people, websites, etc. out there for people to use as sources of news, entertainment, advice, etc. on social media. Try out some of these ideas for expanding your social media horizons.

-Podcasts. Podcasts are much like blogs in the way that publishers cover a wide range of topics with each. There are podcasts for everything and they are only becoming more and more popular. The best thing about podcasts are how accessible they are to audiences at all times. They serve as an easy way for people to multitask and consume any form of content, quickly and efficiently.

-Connect yourself with all the people, websites, and other sources of news and entertainment. Make lists on Twitter and Facebook of the accounts you want to be immediately updated on. Bookmark websites and subscribe to newsletters, authors, websites, etc. to get updates sent to you and to give yourself easy access to the content you want.

-Use applications that help you update all of your social media accounts at once. This provides a central location for you to share your own content to any site you want to publish something on. There are several different sites out there with this capability so look for and test them out to see which application serves as the right fit for you.

-Set up a news or social media site as the homepage to your internet browser. This offers you the opportunity to be exposed to news of any sort, every time you use the internet. Most internet browsers should also allow you to save several different websites as your homepage. This way several sites could open up every time the browser launches, making it more convenient for you to navigate through your saved favorites.
